Blaydon Pre-School Nursery

Welcome to our friendly, caring nursery where we aim to provide childcare of the highest quality for children aged 2 – 4 years old. At Blaydon Pre School Nursery children learn through play, our experienced and qualified staff provide support and guidance to support learning and development. We have a safe, enabling and child centred environment which supports children to explore their surroundings and promotes their independence.

Our Pre-School. Our Family. Our Community

Based in Blaydon Youth and Community Centre we have great facilities for our children, including a purpose-built nursery, a large sports hall and excellent opportunities for outdoor play in our very own play area and around Blaydon Nature Reserve.

We aim to be as flexible as possible to meet the needs of the families and children in our community. We welcome children and families from all backgrounds and because we treat every child as an individual, we can tailor the support and care we provide to meet different needs.

We work to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which are areas of learning and development produced by early years professionals and the government for childcare providers to follow.

We aim to provide children and families with a fun, loving, safe and respectful environment where our children can thrive.

Who can attend?

As mentioned above, we welcome children and families from all backgrounds and because we treat every child as an individual, we can tailor the support and care we provide to meet different needs. Due to this, we offer spaces for children of all abilities aged 2-4 years old including;

– privately funded places

–  children aged 2 years old with a ‘Golden Ticket’

– and funded places for 3-4 year old children.
